Although I was born and raised in Hong Kong, like most native Hong Kongers I was too immersed in its busy lifestyle to remember the other sides that the city offers.

A few years ago, I adopted a dog (our pack has now grown to 3!) and that's when I truly began to experience all the different parts of Hong Kong by walking - walking through streets I wouldn't usually walk through, hiking to peaks I'd never bothered to before, discovering hidden neighbourhoods and beaches and mountains with my furry sidekicks.

 

I hope that my paintings offer glimpses of these explorations, and can hopefully be a beautiful reminder on someone's wall to step out and fully experience what a city can offer.
